Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer position within the Acute Care business unit focused on patient handling and care equipment. The role encompasses full-cycle development of electrical components and subsystems for medical devices, from initial research through product launch, with emphasis on circuit design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems for medical devices
• Review and modify C/C++ code to support product functionality and performance
• Conduct electrical system testing and evaluate designs for safety and reliability
• Build prototypes and perform bench testing activities
• Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and cross-functional teams on production support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Intermediate-level circuit design skills in analog and digital domains
• Programming proficiency in C/C++ or Python
• Hands-on experience with circuit simulation tools like LTSpice
• Practical experience with standard laboratory equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)

Compensation: $69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual
