Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

We're looking for a dependable, motivated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys troubleshooting equipment, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues.
• Replace bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, motors, pumps, rollers, and other mechanical components.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to complete repairs efficiently.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, torches, hoists, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Follow all company safety policies and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and conveyor systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required.
