RN Med Surg / Cardiac

Position requires an RN specializing in Medical Surgical - Cardiac. The unit handles post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients. The patient ratio is 1:5 with a focus on utilizing electronic medical records. Candidates must float as needed; this is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate is a patient-focused team player. Scrub color is black; unacceptable attire will be specified by the facility. All travelers are required to have a flu vaccination from November 1 to April 1 unless approved for exemption. Position may require weekend work as needed by the facility. Call requirements are as determined by the facility. End-of-assignment evaluations are expected to ensure quality care delivery. Consideration for time off will be evaluated based on facility needs.
