Billing Coordinator

About the Role

Join a dental practice built on excellent patient care, strong teamwork, and a culture that supports every member of the team. This role is central to the patient experience, and thrives on collaboration with doctors and staff to deliver a consistently positive visit for every patient.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage patients with a welcoming attitude
Accurately post patient and insurance payments and required adjustments
Maintain accurate patient account notations and work AR reports routinely
Ensure timely filing of claims and provide documentation requested by insurers
Manage patient billing statements and the collections process as needed
Review insurance denials and work accounts through to payment
Reconcile the monthly bank deposit spreadsheet
Maintain a clean, compliant, patient centered environment

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in medical or dental insurance or billing
Strong understanding of CDT codes and EOBs for dental insurance
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
