Help Desk Technician - Tier 1

Salary: $45,760 - 54,080 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Customer service experience; technical support experience is helpful but not required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for occasional client visits.
• An associates degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in IT support or a help desk environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or a similar certification is a plus.

• Respond to user questions and provide technical support by phone, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Record and track user issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support when needed.
• Help set up and configure computers and peripherals.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service.
• Perform initial diagnostics and resolve common problems.
• Update and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

We are hiring a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician as the first point of contact for technical support on our team. The role is based in our Levittown, Pennsylvania office, with occasional travel to client sites in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an expected 40-hour workweek. Pay is $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. We offer paid time off and holidays, and health insurance is available after 90 days of employment.
