Role Description The Business Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Newton, MA, with some flexibility to work from home. The Business Consultant will assess client business and commercial real estate financing needs, analyze financial information, and develop tailored recommendations and strategies. This role involves consulting directly with clients, preparing proposals, and guiding them through financing options and application processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and financial analysis, collaborating with internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a high standard of client communication and service. The consultant will also help refine internal processes and contribute to developing new financing solutions that address complex credit or property challenges. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and assess risk. Demonstrated consulting and management consulting experience, preferably in finance or related fields. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse clients. Solid understanding of finance principles, commercial real estate financing, and lending practices. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus. Proven client relationship management skills and a service-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities independently.
