Our Location: We are located on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, situated amidst the ongoing activities of Port Townsend and the nurturing aspects of nature in our temperate climate. This is a unique area with early Native American roots and Victorian architecture along with a long maritime history. With our unique placement we are only two hours from Seattle, an easy ferry ride to the San Juan Islands or Canada, along with accessibility to the Olympic National Park for day and overnight hiking and exploring. Our Care: We are an AAHA‑accredited hospital, well‑established, full‑service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We have the capacity to offer services to avian and exotic patients and have clients interested in and committed to Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Our Mentoring: We offer a comprehensive mentoring program for newly licensed veterinarians to help them be prepared for a variety of situations while giving them the safety to practice their newly learned skills. The program is designed and tailored to the needs of each individual. We have a great team of kind and supportive DVMs and staff who are willing to pass on wisdom to a great new generation! Maintaining a positive culture and open communication is widely valued. Our Schedule: Our hospitals offer clinic hours Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. We are looking for Vets to fill both part‑time and full‑time schedules as part of our team. The schedule consists of 30 minute appointment times and a 90 minutes midday break for lunch and to catch up on needed procedures, if needed. We utilize the services of local emergency services for overnight concerns and emergencies to eliminate the need for on‑call duties for DVMs. We offer full time (4 days) or part time with or without surgical responsibilities. There are always other DVMs on the floor and available to help and discuss urgent cases and generally collaborate. We offer vacation time flexibility with many associates enjoying 4 or more weeks a year.
