Vascular Access Nurse

Provide specialized vascular access nursing services, including midline and PICC insertions, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires skilled assessment, insertion, and management of vascular devices in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate assessments to determine the necessity of vascular access devices.
• Insert and maintain midline catheters and PICC lines, adhering to clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients for signs of complications related to vascular access devices.
• Educate patients and healthcare team members on vascular device care and maintenance.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular access procedures, including midline and PICC insertions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vascular device insertion and management.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict infection control standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clinical team members.
