Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support our distinguished Litigation Practice Group. This role offers an exciting and prestigious opportunity for a top-performing professional to contribute to high-stakes cases and work alongside some of the most accomplished legal minds in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and resourceful individual with a passion for litigation and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of litigation cases from inception through resolution. Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence. Conduct thorough legal research and compile data to support case strategies. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trial dates, and manage attorneys' calendars. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case progress. Handle electronic court filings and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in litigation. Strong understanding of litigation processes and court procedures. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
