Production Technician Location: Newport News, VA Area Pay Rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Job Overview We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Production Technicians to join a growing team in the Newport News area. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, packaging, shipping/receiving, or general labor. Candidates who are eager to learn, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a team-oriented operation are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

• Perform production, assembly, packaging, and material handling tasks as assigned
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently following company procedures
• Inspect products and materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Load, unload, sort, and move materials throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and production schedules
• Accurately complete production and inventory-related documentation
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
• Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, assembly, logistics, or related environment preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment
