Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and thorough evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results

• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgical areas, ensuring patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during operations
• Deliver exceptional care pre- and post-operatively, including administering medications, managing wounds, ensuring discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical specialty strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
