Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical assessments and medical history reviews.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging results and lab tests.
• Work in tandem with surgeons to craft and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies.
• Provide crucial intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients appropriately, and assisting in the handoff of tools during procedures.
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-surgery care, which includes medication management, wound care, patient education, and discharge preparation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care is highly preferred.

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State licensing (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant.
