Crisis Counselor (Adult Mobile Response Services)

Crisis Counselor (Adult Mobile Response Services) Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking a licensed social worker and/or counseling professional to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to adults and families in various community settings throughout Miami, Darke and Shelby Counties, Ohio. Employee Package includes: Salary starting at $70,000 annually based on experience and licensure Accrue three weeks of paid time off during first year Flex Spending Account Annual Wellness reimbursement Bereavement time off Excellent team environment Highest commitment to quality care $2000 Staff Referral Bonus Duties of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor: Dedicated crisis counselor for adults in crisis. Travel throughout Miami, Darke & Shelby Counties to provide crisis ssessment/intervention, safety planning, and follow up care. Provide brief intervention along with ongoing assessment and linkage to services. Qualifications of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor: Masters with MSW/LSW; LISW/LISW-S or LPCC/LPCC-S Licensure preferred 2 years or more experience working in the behavioral healthcare field Eligible for or have an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number Have/maintain an excellent driving record Preference given to candidates with: Work experience with adults and families in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
