Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Alabaster, AL
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year, based on experience
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide quality rehabilitation services and help residents improve independence, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide skilled OT services focused on ADLs, mobility, cognition, strength, and safety.
Monitor progress and update treatment plans.
Supervise and guide COTAs.
Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and families.
Complete timely documentation and participate in care planning.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Active Alabama OT license in good standing.
NBCOT OTR certification.
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
SNF/geriatric experience preferred.
