Eurofins Environment Testing (USA)

Job Description The Sales Account Executive is a client‑facing outside sales role that involves identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities for Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division. The Account Executive will travel throughout the region to meet with clients and prospects. The role requires a comfortable approach to cold calling and a willingness to bring in new business and cultivate existing relationships within the asbestos, lead, mold and air testing industry. Assigned region is Arizona, Utah and Nevada, and the candidate must reside in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area with travel required. Key Focus Areas Maximizing market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market. Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with Eurofins clients. Providing vision and acquiring new accounts to sustain growth of the business by representing Eurofins and communicating services to new customers and markets. Identifying opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing. Acting as a valuable interface between the customer and Eurofins, communicating the customer’s needs to internal organization and serving as a customer advocate while teaming with internal management, operations, technical staff, and project managers. Account Executive Responsibilities Meet individual revenue targets as well as regional goals. Provide sales plan forecasts for the assigned region. Review credit status of new and existing customers prior to submitting bids or proposals. Monitor accounts receivable status and resolve collection issues as required. Develop and recommend strategies to facilitate pricing and bid/no‑bid decisions, establish Master Service agreements and provide budgetary information. Develop client profiles and assess potential to fund work. Qualify, track, and close leads to increase revenue. Report sales activity within the assigned area. Update customer databases to identify business opportunities. Maintain productive relationships between customers and the Eurofins Environment Testing organization. Develop and implement account plans detailing specific clients, revenue goals, and related account objectives to attain regional revenue quotas. Identify key target markets and major accounts, and develop strategies within the assigned area to attain market position for Eurofins Environment Testing and maintain profitability. Establish, coordinate, negotiate, and complete Master Service Agreements with customers, defining specific needs and streamlining processes. Complete summaries of sales development activities as directed by Sales Director. Communicate all business opportunities (bids, quotes, proposals, pricing inquiries) by providing copies or entering information into Eurofins Environment Testing’s database. Follow up on all outstanding bids, quotes, proposals, and price inquiries to achieve successful completion of the sales cycle. Negotiate pricing and contractual issues within the area of responsibility with the approval of the Sales Director. Control expenses related to the selling function pursuant to Eurofins Environment Testing’s policy and with approval by Sales Director. Assume role as “sponsor” for National Accounts as needed. Provide feedback on market conditions to facilitate development of new products and services. Maintain relationship with one or more Eurofins Environment Testing network facilities to sustain awareness of operational issues related to meeting customer requirements. Provide information on business opportunity outcomes with respect to win/lose ratios and future pricing strategies. Provide forecasting information to Customer Service Managers to assist operational staff with resource and operational planning. Assist with development of sales materials. Travel is required; candidate must be able to work in each Phoenix and Las Vegas location two weeks each month. Qualifications Degree in sciences or related field preferred but not required. Minimum 3‑5 years progressively successful outside sales experience in a service industry. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory; some overnight travel is required. Environmental industry knowledge preferred, specifically asbestos, lead, mold, and air testing. Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ area. Valid driver’s license. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English required, including the ability to read, write, and speak. Ideal Candidate Sales skills in identifying prospects, interviewing, negotiating, and closing. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sales acumen. Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred. Experience writing sales and account plans. Computer skills. Familiarity with lab functions and terminology. Analytical skills. Planning skills. Self‑directed. Ability to work in an unstructured environment. Additional Information Position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday. Position pay range is $70,000 base salary, reviewed based on experience. A generous commission plan and $5,000 sign‑on bonus will also be offered to qualified candidates.
