Lifeguard

Riverhouse Lodge is seeking a professional, attentive, and certified Lifeguard to oversee the safety of guests using the hotel pool and surrounding aquatic facilities. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests. Enforce pool rules and safety regulations in a professional and courteous manner. Respond quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies and administer first aid, CPR, or other lifesaving measures as needed. Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and safety equipment. Maintain accurate incident and accident reports. Ensure pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards. Perform opening and closing pool procedures. Assist guests with questions regarding pool operations, amenities, and hotel services. Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management promptly. Participate in required training, drills, and staff meetings. Maintain a friendly, professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Qualifications Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent). Current CPR/AED Certification. Current First Aid Certification. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm in emergency situations.
