Sr Engineering Program Manager - Actuator Development Tempe, AZ, United States Job Description As Sr. Engineering Manager of Flight Control Actuators, you will be responsible for ensuring program execution and robust mechanical development processes for flight control actuators. In this role, project execution MOS, knowledge of mechanical development standards and collaboration with chief engineering, design and analysis teams will be essential to your success. You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Engineering, Motion Control Systems within the Control Systems (CS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and be based in our Tempe, Arizona, location on a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide management oversight and technical leadership to ensure schedule performance, cost control and product development execution. Build and enforce a robust mechanical development process for flight control actuators including the latest digital engineering techniques, design for six sigma and component verification methods by using and contributing to best practices across Aerospace. Manage department operational metrics (census, department demand, utilization, etc.) and provide monthly operating review status and action plans. Interface with peer organizations (Flight Control Actuation Systems, Mechanical Design / Analysis, Engineering Test Services, Chief Engineering, etc.) in order to ensure seamless handoffs and program collaboration. Drive employee engagement and development through performance feedback, coaching, rewards and recognition, etc. in order to build a world class engineering team. Contribute to product line strategy by understanding the competitive landscape, customer needs and identifying opportunities for technology and cycle time / cost differentiators. Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. 10 years of experience in project / product engineering or related roles.
