A full-time Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in Somers Point, NJ, offering a dynamic role within a retail pharmacy setting. This contract position requires a licensed pharmacist proficient in prescription verification, patient counseling, and immunization administration, working collaboratively to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and safety according to regulations
• Counsel patients on medication use and health management
• Administer immunizations as a certified immunizer
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and support pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and New Jersey state regulations

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Thursday: Rotating on/off shifts
• Friday: Rotating opening or closing shifts
• Saturday: Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing
• Certification as an immunizer is required
• Strong communication skills with patients
• Availability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends
