About the Role:
Coastal Computer Consulting LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Brunswick, GA. Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral device problems
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications
- Set up and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Respond to help desk tickets and client service requests in a timely manner
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patching
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures
- Resolving 90%+ of client issues on first contact
- Maintaining a 98%+ client satisfaction rating
- Hitting monthly goals with integrity, not shortcuts
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role
- Proficiency with Windows and/or macOS operating systems
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, client-first attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 100 lbs
