Working with minimal supervision, this individual reviews insurance provisions within contracts, manages insurance-related documentation, and maintains a strong understanding of Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP). Manage and track enrollments in project specific insurance programsAssist with the procurement of appropriate contract specific insurance coverages to comply with contract insurance requirements, joint venture bids, builders risk insurance and accompanying certificates of insurancePresent insurance coverage issues related to construction contracts, lease agreements, subcontract agreements and consultant agreements to managementAnalyze and understand insurable risks and potential risk mitigation opportunities; interact with project teams to ensure coordination between project activities, exposures, and appropriate insurance coveragesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combinationProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteMust possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review TeamAA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability
