Administrative Assistant- Switchboard Operator

Pay Range The base pay range for this position is $20.46-$32.84 Hourly however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position Overview Receive and accurately route phone calls through the organization’s telephone system in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Must be able to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy. Must be reliable as this is a high-performance role. Credentialing Services tasks to include payer enrollment, revalidations, and other miscellaneous tasks as required by payers. A Day in the Life Answer incoming calls for Pullman Regional Hospital. Efficiently connect callers to the appropriate extension. Provide exceptional customer service. Assist with clerical tasks between phone calls (scanning documents into our electronic medical record, filing, etc.) Obtain information from agencies or sources to complete projects and reports as needed. Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of completeness of Punctual and regular attendance is essential responsibility. The expectation is that the employee will be present for all scheduled shifts. About You! This Job is For You if You Have: High school diploma or equivalent. Exceptional communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy. A Wow if You Have: Prior experience with a switchboard or multi-line phone service.
