Role Description This full‑time Financial Advisor role is based in Cherry Hill, NJ and follows a hybrid work model, combining in‑office client engagement with the flexibility to work from home for certain activities. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their goals, assess their financial situation, and develop personalized financial plans. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include providing guidance on investments, retirement strategies, insurance solutions, and overall financial wellness, as well as conducting regular reviews to adjust plans as needs change. The role involves building and maintaining long‑term client relationships, prospecting for new clients, and collaborating with internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. The Financial Advisor will also stay current on market trends, regulatory requirements, and Thrivent’s products and services to provide informed, ethical advice. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to create tailored strategies based on client needs. Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, including understanding of portfolios, risk management, and asset allocation. Experience in Retirement Planning, including designing income strategies and evaluating tax‑efficient retirement solutions. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language. Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships, and to work with integrity in a regulated environment. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; professional licenses and designations (such as FINRA securities licenses, insurance licenses, CFP®) are an advantage or may be required based on role. Comfort with a hybrid work environment in Cherry Hill, NJ, including in‑person client meetings and virtual consultations.
