Work at a renowned hospital with cutting-edge facilities and a collaborative environment Flexible outpatient and inpatient consults with a Monday-Thursday schedule Competitive pay at $156/hour with comprehensive medical benefits Quick Facts Location: St. Louis, MO Start Date: October 19, 2026 End Date/Duration: April 19, 2027 Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm (Day shift) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract, with potential for permanency Licenses/Certifications: Board Certification in Genetics, BLS, DEA, BNDD Experience: 2-5 years minimum in genetics & metabolic conditions Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $156/hour Pay Package: Competitive pay with weekly direct deposit Benefits: Medical benefits (W-2), licensure/certification reimbursements, paid sick time, referral bonuses, and travel reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Conduct general genetic evaluations and manage biochemical/metabolic disorders Provide inpatient consults in Pediatric ICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Collaborate with genetic counselors and other multidisciplinary teams Support dual outpatient and inpatient care activities Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation Contribute to diagnostic processes and patient management plans Support hospital programs in pediatric genetics and metabolic conditions What You Need Required: Board Certification in Genetics (required) MO and IL medical licenses (will accept licensure candidates) BLS Certification At least 2 years of clinical experience in genetics Preferred: Experience with metabolic conditions Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams About the Assignment Join a prestigious children’s hospital known for advanced pediatric care, including a Level I Trauma Center, Level IV NICU, and extensive subspecialties. You will support a team of over 200 pediatric specialists in a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility, providing outpatient and inpatient genetic services to young patients and occasionally adult cases.
