Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Enter and process beneficiary bills/invoices accurately and in a timely manner Prepare voids, stop payments and reissues checks as needed Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and sub-ledgers Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies Ensure timely and accurate processing of journal entries Assist with IRS letter responses Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes Support corporate accounts payable (AP) Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Help improve accounting processes and internal controls Prepare year end Form 1099s Maintain statistics/graphs for board meetings Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–3 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) and financial reporting tools High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Experience with Salesforce a plus Key Skills Analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate across organization Time management and organizational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
