Perform and deliver diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing X-ray equipment in accordance with established safety and clinical standards. Ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining all necessary equipment and documentation. Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assess and monitor patient condition throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring proper care and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate imaging procedures and accommodate patient needs.
- Follow all regulatory guidelines and maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed.
- Keep abreast of advancements in imaging technology and healthcare practices to improve service delivery.
- Possess 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician.
- Demonstrate proficiency with imaging equipment including setup and troubleshooting.
- Hold current NJ State RT License and ARRT certification.
- Maintain BLS (AHA) certification and CPR credentials.
- Graduate from an accredited radiography program.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail.
