Onsite Community Manager

Role Description The Onsite Community Manager is a full-time role based in South Elgin, IL. This role is responsible for day-to-day management of a community association, including coordinating maintenance and repairs, overseeing vendors and contractors, and monitoring common areas for safety and upkeep. The Onsite Community Manager communicates regularly with homeowners and board members, prepares reports and meeting materials, and supports board meetings and community events. Additional responsibilities include enforcing association rules and policies, assisting with budgeting and financial oversight, responding to resident inquiries and concerns, and ensuring that the community’s operations align with McGill Management, Inc.’s standards and values. Qualifications Strong community association management capabilities, including vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, and rule enforcement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with homeowners, board members, contractors, and internal teams. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in an onsite environment. Basic financial and administrative skills, including familiarity with budgets, reports, and documentation. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and ability to learn industry-specific systems. Customer service mindset with a focus on problem-solving and relationship-building. Ability to work onsite in South Elgin, IL, including occasional evenings or weekends for meetings or events as needed. Previous experience in property or community association management is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CMCA or similar) are a plus.
