Associate Scientist, Post Doc Fellow- Ophthalmology

Responsibilities
- Design and execute in vitro studies using cell cultures, functional assays, and molecular biology methods
- Conduct in vivo ophthalmology research in rodent disease models with endpoint analysis
- Generate and analyze complex biological datasets integrating molecular and multi-omics data
- Lead independent research initiatives and communicate findings through publications and scientific forums
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or related field (or receipt by spring 2027)
- Strong peer-reviewed publication record demonstrating scientific impact
- Hands-on proficiency in molecular, cellular, and in vitro experimental techniques
- Demonstrated experience designing and conducting in vivo studies using animal models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent research capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication for scientific presentations and collaboration
Compensation: $82,000-$92,000 base
