Senior Coordinator, Payroll

Cencora seeks a Senior Coordinator for Payroll to manage payroll processing for assigned groups, validate HRIS and timekeeping data, resolve exceptions, and maintain records. The role requires payroll processing experience and proficiency with payroll software such as Workday.

Responsibilities

• Validate HRIS and timekeeping inputs to coordinate accurate payroll processing
• Verify standard earnings and adjustments to maintain accurate gross-to-net calculations
• Research and resolve payroll and payroll tax exceptions with timely correction coordination
• Maintain payroll records, reporting, and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance
• Prepare payroll tax reconciliations and support year-end readiness activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years payroll processing support and administration experience
• Proficiency with payroll processing software, preferably Workday
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and payroll-to-GL reconciliation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accuracy and compliance
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
