Watertown, NY | ️ 13 Weeks | Respiratory Therapist – Days

Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RT with strong critical care experience who is confident managing ventilators, responding to respiratory emergencies, and providing high-quality cardiopulmonary care in an acute care setting.

Schedule:
• Day Shift – 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Manage mechanical ventilators and adjust settings based on patient condition
• Interpret arterial blood gases and apply knowledge of acid/base and electrolyte balance
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical respiratory support
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR

Requirements:
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care program
• Active New York Respiratory Therapist License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
• NRP and PALS preferred

Additional Details:
• Travel candidates only (100-mile radius rule applies)
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
