If you have a knack for sourcing health professionals then this may be the team for you!This isn't just a job—you will be influencing change and shaping futures in our shared mission of helping people reach their full potential.The Talent Acquisition Specialist position provides Human Resources support in the area of recruitment and hiring for the organization. This position will work closely with program leaders to assist with sourcing candidates and hiring to ensure recruiting processes are running effectively and efficiently.Your role in our mission will partner with hiring managers to hone in on the much-needed qualifications per vacant opportunity. You will be responsible for sourcing and full-cycle recruiting of Direct Support Professionals, Qualified Professionals, and other requisitions as needed. This position is mostly remote within the state of North Carolina with intermittent travel to headquarters in Raleigh and within the assigned service area for career events.Essential job functions include developing and posting job openings to electronic recruitment sites, sourcing candidates through partnerships with accredited technical schools, colleges, and universities, attending job fairs, verifying assessments, receiving and reviewing resumes, scheduling phone screens, sending qualified applicants to hiring managers, scheduling interviews, and assisting with training on recruitment processes.What we're looking for includes adeptness at passive sourcing, experience providing an engaging candidate experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, four years' experience in staff recruitment, preferably for a non-profit and/or human service related field, PHR/SHRM-CP/SPHR/SHRM-SCP strongly preferred, experience with credentialing requirements for direct service positions preferred, ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, general knowledge of employment law and legal hiring practices, ability to prioritize, coordinate and organize projects, ability to anticipate problems and take initiative to solve them, ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, and possession of state-appropriate, unrestricted driver's license and current and valid auto insurance.Compensation and benefits include a competitive salary, generous paid time off and paid holidays, full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and disability insurance (company paid), 403(b) retirement plan, employee assistance program and legal services support, and public service loan forgiveness (PSLF) qualifying employer.Equipment used includes a telephone, computer (Microsoft Office Applications), calculator, fax, copier, and motor vehicle (may be required to use own personal vehicle on occasion).Essential physical requirements include visual acuity to develop written correspondence, ability to physically perform basic life operational functions, and ability to speak audibly, write legibly, and perform repetitive motions such as typing.The work environment is a typical office setting with travel to other offices within North Carolina and Virginia, including overnight stays. Program locations may vary from residential environments to clinic-based service delivery sites to adult day vocational programs or administrative offices. Exposure to weather elements is possible when traveling.
