About The Job: Home health aide needed in Oak Harbor, Washington. A personable, thoughtful, caring individual for elder mother. Assistance with personal hygiene, shower, clean clothes, check and maintain safe environment for fall prevention. Prompts to be up moving around, balanced with sitting legs elevated in chair. Light cleaning, trash, light meal preparation as requested, Keep daily notes accomplished each day for family in provided notebook. Services And Training: Experienced with elderly in home personal and light homecare duties. Disabled Widow living alone in her same home, for over 50 yrs. Insists on living independently as possible alone,, as long as manageable. Safety a priority. Part-time care provider is needed for motivational support, emotional support, conversation, medication reminder, set up and stand by personal hygiene, and shower assistance daily. Change linens, laundry, dishes, trash, wipe down with disinfectant, kitchen and bathroom daily . Day time hours only at this time. To be increased as needed. Night time hours to be determined in the future. Flexible pay, days and hrs., Available to communicate with progress reports/ prompt upon requested. With long distance family and neighbor.
