Responsibilities: Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental activities for infants in a classroom setting Provide attentive, responsive care including feeding, diapering, and soothing infants throughout the day Observe and document infant milestones, behaviors, and developmental progress Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth Maintain a clean, safe, and organized infant classroom environment in compliance with licensing standards Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Build warm, trusting relationships with infants and their families to support secure attachment Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and best practices in infant care Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Ohio childcare licensing requirements Strong communication skills and a warm, patient, nurturing demeanor Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead classroom staff effectively About Us: Viola & Virsies Learning is a beloved early childhood learning center serving the Zanesville, OH community with heart, dedication, and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds.
