RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby

Role Summary Creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by overseeing nursing and ancillary staff on a designated unit. Responsibilities Include Leading daily operations, coordinating patient care, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. Supervising staff recruitment, retention, performance evaluations, and educational needs. Promoting a culture of safety, communication, and continuous improvement in patient satisfaction. Monitoring compliance with regulations, conducting rounds, and resolving operational issues. Managing staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient throughput. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and revise care plans. Ensuring safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of five years' clinical experience; leadership experience preferred. Certifications in BLS required; additional certifications like NRP or ARC-NALS preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
