Cloud Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Azure cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications, working closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver demos and technical presentations are essential.
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based batch processing and Spring Boot applications.
Build, deploy, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Design and document API specifications following industry best practices.
Work on data modeling and schema design for relational databases.
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
Develop and support cloud-native solutions using modern Azure services.
Provide technical demonstrations and support stakeholder discussions.
Continuously learn and adapt to new and legacy technologies as required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in stakeholder interaction and technical demos.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and backend development.
Proven experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure.
Experience with RDBMS data modeling and relational database design.
Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Azure services such as: Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Key Vault (AKV), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Application Insights, Azure Monitor.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies as required.
Experience in the banking or financial services domain (e.g., credit cards, loans).
Exposure to Azure Cosmos DB and SQL Server.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
Experience in building cloud-native, distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Ownership mindset with a focus on delivery and quality.
