Marketing Manager – Events and Campaign Marketing Strategy and Execution Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: Hybrid - in-office 4 days per week, 1 day remote - with movement towards 5 days in office Duration: 10+ months (Potential for extension and conversion) Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour on W2 About the Role Russell Tobin is seeking a Marketing Manager – Events and Campaign Marketing Strategy and Execution to support our global logistics client. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic B2B marketer who has experience bringing integrated marketing campaigns to life while planning and executing customer-facing events, product marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has a background in B2B marketing within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries and enjoys collaborating across product, sales, creative, and regional marketing teams to deliver campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and business growth. Candidate Profile: A resilient generalist who can navigate a large, matrixed enterprise with multiple stakeholders; global logistics or similar industry experience a strong plus Events: Candidate should expect to support approximately 4 events over the course of the engagement Key Responsibilities Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing campaigns supporting client’s products and logistics solutions across North America. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and Regional stakeholders to create marketing programs that generate awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth. Support industry trade shows, conferences, customer events, and experiential marketing initiatives from concept through post-event reporting. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and campaign execution. Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce high-quality marketing assets. Monitor campaign performance and event success using KPIs and marketing analytics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 5 years of B2B marketing experience Focus Areas: Campaign execution supporting Events, Paid Media, and Product teams Must-Haves: B2B marketing background (no B2C), Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud proficiency A combination of enterprise and start-up experience is strong preferred Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution. Hands‑on experience planning and executing trade shows, conferences, customer events, or experiential marketing programs. Experience supporting event and product marketing initiatives or product launches. Strong project management and organizational skills. Working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Creative, and Commercial teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the global logistics, shipping, or transportation industry. Experience working with creative agencies and/or event vendors. Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms Experience using project management tools. Familiarity with Google Analytics, campaign reporting, and marketing performance metrics.
