Assistant Director of Nursing

Concord Village Rehabilitation and Wellness is a beautiful newer rehabilitation facility located in Lake County, about 20 min northeast of Cleveland, Ohio. Patients from the hospital continue their stay here for 2-3 weeks of rehabilitation and skilled nursing before heading home after surgery or illness. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to work in collaboration with the Director of Nursing to create an efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. An ADON should have once been a hard-working and compassionate registered charge nurse who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Prefer an RN who has completed the CMS Infection Preventionist Program, or is willing to become certified. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver is what will open this door for you. Responsibilities Provide infection control education Guide and educate staff Make observations and complete audits for compliance Manage antibioltic stewardship log Collaborate with other department team members Must have working knowledge of the basic principles of infection control Relate well to patients, families and other team members. Interacts well with therapists and help implement programs Maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Skills Experience in Infection Control required Clinical experience in skilled nursing facility required Certification in Infection Prevention preferred, or willing to become certified Possess knowledge of regulations and best practices in healthcare Excellent ability to lead and educate personnel Great communication and people skills Organizational and stress management skills Aptitude for problem-solving #J-18808-Ljbffr
