We are seeking an experienced Operations & Quality Manager to lead manufacturing operations, quality assurance initiatives, and process improvement efforts at our Elk Grove Village facility. Position Summary The Operations & Quality Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations while driving quality standards, production efficiency, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, manufacturing experience, and a proactive approach to operational excellence. MUST BE AUTONOMOUS WITH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS Key Responsibilities Operations Management Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery Monitor production schedules, staffing, and workflow optimization Improve operational processes to reduce waste and increase productivity Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain material flow Develop and track KPIs related to production, efficiency, and delivery performance Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards Quality Management Lead quality assurance and quality control programs across manufacturing operations Develop and maintain SOPs, inspection procedures, and quality documentation Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and non-conformance issues Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Conduct internal audits and support supplier quality initiatives Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations Leadership & Continuous Improvement Supervise and mentor production and quality personnel Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Lead Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with engineering and product development teams on manufacturability and quality improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and quality management Experience in plumbing products, metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, or related industries Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies Experience with ERP systems and production planning Ability to analyze data and drive operational decisions Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of ISO quality standards is also require d Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Company DescriptionSmall manufacturing and assembly business in the NW suburbs of ChicagoCompany DescriptionSmall manufacturing and assembly business in the NW suburbs of Chicago #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
