Customer Education Specialist

About the role We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Education Specialist to join our Member Support team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while educating both new and existing members about Zion HealthShare’s programs, processes, and values. The ideal candidate will be an engaging communicator who thrives in both one-on-one conversations and group presentations. What you’ll do Provide clear, compassionate, and accurate information to members via phone, email, chat, and live presentations. Conduct onboarding calls with new members to ensure understanding of memberships, guidelines, and processes. Host live educational webinars and in-person presentations to inform and engage members. Respond to member inquiries with professionalism and empathy, resolving concerns and escalating when necessary. Assist in developing educational materials and resources to support member understanding. Track and report on member feedback and engagement to help improve the member experience. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in customer service, education, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups in both virtual and live settings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to explain complex topics in a simple, relatable way. Passion for helping others. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the healthcare or health sharing industry. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). 13 paid holidays, including your birthday and personal preference day, plus up to 2 weeks of paid time off to balance work and life.
