As a Hairstylist, you will work independently to provide exceptional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services while reporting to the salon manager. Your primary focus will be on hair cutting and specializing in color and treatments, ensuring each client receives personalized care. Utilizing salon software for scheduling and record keeping, you will help maintain efficient operations and deliver outstanding customer service without any travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services
- Conduct client consultations to understand their needs
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Recommend hair care products to clients
- Manage salon inventory to ensure availability of supplies
- Deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships
- Use salon software for scheduling and record keeping
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hairstyling
- Cosmetology Training Certificate
- Skilled in hair cutting and coloring techniques
- Strong customer service abilities
- Creative styling skills
- Effective time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices
- Attention to detail
