Building Engineer

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: 22010 SE 51st St, Issaquah, WA

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems within a multi-use facility.

• Ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards and regulations.

• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.

• Respond to emergency repairs and troubleshoot complex building system issues.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, following all safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.

• Valid 06A license and Universal Refrigerant license; City of Seattle Refrigerant license highly preferred.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs/ladders, and standing for extended periods.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze multiple sources of information to solve problems.
