Job Summary:

The organization is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specialized in inpatient care in Wausau, Wisconsin. The position involves providing services to adult patients, including cognitive evaluations and bedside swallow assessments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

• Required Qualifications: Active Wisconsin licensure, Certified Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Master's degree in speech language pathology, minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred, no experience required for RN or other experiences.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patients, cognitive evaluations, bedside swallow evaluations, and GSA hours if applicable.


• Additional Information: The position guarantees set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed. Scrub color can be any color. There is a possibility of being put on call for low census hours, which will include paid callback time with a minimum of 2 hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per policy.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.
