This is a full‑time position. Key Responsibilities Operating electronic total station instrument, transit, Auto level and other surveying instruments. Reads, reviews, and interprets maps, drawings and diagrams. Sets and marks stakes for slopes, grades and other construction purposes. Determines lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions and distances. Maintains total station and field book. Maintains survey equipment and tools. Performs related field and office engineering work. Qualifications Possess 2 years of construction/surveying experience. Strong communication and time management skills. Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate and use standard business software and systems. Must have a complete of surveying math. Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects. Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time. Preferred Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment. Must be able to work outside. Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
