Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you'll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The Diagnostic Technologist - Outpatient will position patients for imaging, operate X-ray equipment, process images into PACS, and provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision. The technologist may also float to main radiology as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the state regulatory authority as required.
• ARRT certification and state licensure if applicable and required by law.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience performing general radiographic procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
• Experience processing and documenting images into PACS.
• Ability to provide basic patient care including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for clinician evaluation.
• May be required to float to other radiology departments within the health system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technologist preferred.
• Experience in outpatient imaging or hospital radiology preferred.

Assignment Details

• 8-hour shift.
• Start time approximately 7:30 AM.
• May be scheduled on weekends.
• May float to main radiology as needed.
