Quality Lab Technician (Entry-Level)

✅ Perform quality testing on food ingredients and finished products

✅ Conduct sensory evaluations, including taste, texture, and appearance assessments

✅ Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results

✅ Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions

✅ Perform GMP inspections, plant audits, and environmental monitoring activities

✅ Record test results and quality data in LIMS and internal systems

✅ Label and release materials and finished products that meet specifications

✅ Partner with production teams to uphold food safety and quality standards

✔ High School Diploma with 1-2 years of quality, laboratory, manufacturing, or food industry experience; OR

✔ Bachelor's Degree with laboratory coursework and hands-on work experience

✔ Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control principles

✔ Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

✔ Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

✔ Comfortable handling products containing dairy, nuts, shellfish, and other food allergens

✔ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs

✔ Experience with GMPs, food safety programs, and quality audits

✔ Familiarity with LIMS or other quality management systems

✔ Experience with environmental monitoring, swabbing, or SOP development

✔ Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BRIDGETON, MO.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.55/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
