Overview
Registered Nurse – OR Circulator in a hospital setting, located in Borger, TX. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,208–$2,345 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include circulating during general surgery and OB/GYN cases, with potential ortho cases as needed, and on-call coverage as required.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the OR circulator, supporting general surgery, OB/GYN, and occasional ortho cases under the direction of the surgical team
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument and supply counts, and ensure instrument readiness throughout procedures
- Position patients appropriately and monitor intraoperative status, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
- Assist the surgeon and anesthesia team as needed, anticipate equipment needs, and coordinate room setup and turnover
- Ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and communication with the team; uphold safety and infection control standards
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by the assignment and institutional needs

Requirements
- Active RN license in Texas
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent
- OR circulating nurse experience or strong operating room familiarity (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment; physical stamina for long shifts, including standing and lifting
- Availability to work Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with on-call requirements
- Education: ADN or BSN; current nursing practice in perioperative care
