REGISTERED NURSE - CARDIAC NEURO TELEMETRY

Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiac Neurology Telemetry Unit – Full‑time Nights (12‑hour shifts) Job Responsibilities Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit will have the following job responsibilities: The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments. 12‑hour shifts. Job Qualifications Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit will have the following qualifications: Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program. Must have an RN license in the State of Florida, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one. BSN is preferred. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Telemetry or Cardiac Units in an acute care hospital as an RN. Must have BLS and ACLS certifications. Must have NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work (must work under NIHSS credentials until training certificate obtained). Additional Information Shifts: Nights Only 12‑hour shifts Previous 2 yrs RN acute care experience required.
