Prep Cook/BakerThe Cook - Senior Living is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious and appealing meals for residents in a senior living community. This role requires a skilled individual who can cook a variety of dishes, including those tailored to special diets, while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food safety. The ideal candidate is adept at following menus, baking, and ensuring food is stored correctly.Schedule: Part-Time, Sunday - Monday, 8AM - 4PM. Open availability on the weekends and holidays preferred.Compensation: $19.61 - 23 / hour, depending on experience.To be successful in the role, you would have:Must have 1-2+ yrs of professional Cook and Baker experiencePrior culinary, food service, or restaurant experienceSan Bernardino Food Handler's certificationResponsibilities:Prepare and cook meals according to menus, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards, including special diets and restrictionsMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with food safety regulationsMonitor food inventory and assist with ordering and proper storage of suppliesEnsure meals are attractively presented and served at appropriate temperaturesWork independently and collaboratively with the dietary team while following all company policiesWhat's in it for you?
