Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 28
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit Staffing Description: Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management
Type of Equipment: Walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, etc.
Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

Must be available for 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule and participate in holiday rotation.

Floating Policy

Staff may float between various units as needed.

Patient Experience Requirements

Maintain a patient experience score of 72% or higher, utilizing communication boards.

Qualifications

Licensure: RN License required
Must Have Skills: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
Advanced Skills Needed: Medical-Surgical experience, including familiarity with respiratory diseases, renal diseases, gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, heparin infusions, etc. Experience in oncology and general surgery is preferred but not mandatory.

Dress Code

Navy Blue Scrubs are required.
