Confidential Bookkeeper – Contract to Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Onsite

Position Overview

A confidential client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team. This position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, data entry, and month-end activities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Enter and maintain financial information using Sage and Ctrade
• Enter and verify transactional information for accuracy
• Review pricing and supporting documentation for discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Perform high-volume data entry and administrative tasks
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Hands-on AP and AR experience
• Experience with an accounting system or ERP
• Sage experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dependable and comfortable working independently
