Lease Operator Responsibilities Operate and drive a Class A tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently. Manage your loads and schedule while partnering with dispatch for support and planning. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, settlements, and required documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and any issues that arise. Lease Operator Qualifications Must have 18 months of OTR experience. Required license or certification Class A CDL. Meet all DOT requirements and follow all DOT laws and regulations. Must pass DOT drug test. Must have or be willing to obtain an LLC, S-Corporation, or Sole Proprietorship with an EIN. No California lease operators due to AB-5 regulations.
